Camera and screen guides for AI-assisted work
Show your assistant what changed after a practice step, test, edit, or troubleshooting check. LetItSee connects a camera or desktop share you choose to an image-capable MCP assistant. Each request returns one current still image.
Choose your task
Tutoring and learning
- Learn from handwritten math — Work through a math problem one handwritten step at a time, checking each still before getting a single next hint.
- Learn visual software — Practice a visual software concept through one prediction, one learner-made action, and a still of the result.
Camera access in conversations
- Add visual context when voice has no camera view — Check ChatGPT Live's camera limits and share requested snapshots with an assistant that supports image tools.
Build, test, and troubleshoot
- Troubleshoot a second computer — Use phone photos of a disconnected computer as evidence in a deliberate symptom-to-next-check loop.
- Review hardware test results — Compare finished physical test output with a stated baseline, then choose a focused retest or measurement.
- Inspect electronics at the bench — Pair close-up bench images with written readings and notes to track a deliberate inspection.
- Compare 3D printer samples — Compare completed print samples under recorded settings, then choose a human-directed retest.
- Review an interface — Use repeatable screenshots to discuss rendered UI changes alongside direct code and accessibility checks.
- Review 3D models — Discuss model and render appearance through selected views while checking geometry in native tools.
- Get no-code app help — Use editor and preview screenshots to guide a human through a no-code app investigation and retest.
- Troubleshoot first-layer gaps and adhesion — Use a completed first-layer sample and its printer settings to distinguish line-spacing clues from other adhesion and extrusion causes.
- Troubleshoot PETG stringing — Compare finished PETG test prints with spool and slicer details to narrow down stringing causes without copying universal settings.
Set up your source
These guides cover browser permissions, account matching, source selection, and troubleshooting.
- Phone camera for a nearby object, desk, or overhead view.
- Webcam for a built-in or standard USB camera on your computer.
- USB microscope when the browser can see its standard webcam feed.
- Screen, window, or tab when the material is already on your desktop.
All guides assume an MCP client with remote Streamable HTTP, OAuth, and image-result support. You choose the source and request each image. LetItSee does not continuously send a camera or screen feed.
Read the full setup and tool reference before adding the MCP endpoint.
Opening the capture page is a separate action that lets you choose a source and can replace the active page for your account. Open camera page only when you are ready to sign in and select that source.
